It's an individual thing, and where people can or can't carry a pistol varies state to state. The important thing is that we have the right to do it if we want to.

And... For anyone that wants a comparison of the new breed small .380's there was a good article in the Feb. 2010 issue of the American Rifleman. You might be able to find it at your local library or from a local NRA member.
The only dumb thing is the article included the Walther PK380, which is a nice pistol, but hardly in the same size class as the others that they reviewed.

Agreed on the Keltec--not a "fun" gun to shoot, but perfect for (legal) concealed carry.

I only now found this part of the board--will have to post some of my gun pics. I have a nice pair of Walthers, a PPKS in 380 and a PP 32 ACP.

Also a pair of Colt Single Action Army Revolvers in .44 WCF (3rd gen), a pair of same in .357 (2nd generation) and a beautiful nickeled 1st generation SAA in .32 WCF, with a matching vintage Winchester 1873, also chambered in .32 WCF (manufactured I think in the 1890's).

Nice to find some fellow gun enthusiasts.

That is a beauty of a 1911! It's a perfect blend of classic and modern.

If I had a dollar for every gun I had while I was working in enforcement..well I'd have some nice razors now...oh well I do.

There was the Smith model 19 and the Hi Standard derringer 22mag and the Colt Combat Commander 45 and the Ruger security 6 and the Ruger 45ACP and the Sig p220 and the Glock 17 and the baby glock 40 and the baretta 40 and the American Derringer 45 long colt and the Walther PPk and the Sig 380 and of course the H&K 40 universal.

Actually I found the Walther had a tendency to jam very easily which the sig did not.
