A gift from the Left Coast appeared - Bolivar PC, vintage unknown. Just lovely on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Thanks, Spills!

Default Don Pepin Garcia Blur Label

One of my favorite cigars. I passed some out already to commemorate the birth of our daughter. I like the peppery taste along with the strength and no aftertaste.

(Sorry about the sideways pic. Don't know how to rotate on my iphone)

I had one before but thought it was a bit milder that's all.

Just finished writing up my tasting notes of the Hawk 1968 on my blog so I thought I drop in a link in case anyone's interested. I can't quite work out if I'm really allowed to post a link to my blog, but I'm happy for it to be taken down if it turns out to be against the rules. davidtastes.blogspot.com

Perdomo Lot 23 (Connecticut Belicoso) on the way into work this morning.

Immediately noted a depth of flavour that was earthy, full and creamy all at once; continued on throughout with a woodsy element around mid point.

Burned evenly throughout with a very tight ash completely devoid of flaking.

    Perdomo continues to impress!

Anyone had a la Rica no. 4? I ended up with one after trying to order a oliva special perfecto. They emailed to say they were out of stock and suggested a Nicarau petit corona instead. I figured since it would be worth a try and said ok, but they called the next day and said they'd run out of those too. So i've got this la Rica no.4, which smells really nice, and a nice new cutter to cut it with. I just need the wind and rain to stop so I can go outside.
