Today I enjoyed a Gurkha Empire I whilst sitting outside on a lovely evening.
Perdomo lot 23 Toro, nice smoke with my father in law by the lake.
I've been smoking the usual mix for me - Tatuaje, Illusione, Pepin, Oliva V, and LFD's. The new Tatuaje Face is a great cigar, but a bit lighter than most of their current offerings. IT was fun chasing down the coffins. The Liga Privada Dirty Rat is another new cigar that is excellent. Happy smoking everyone!
Nice sunny day here in Toronto.
Enjoyed a cigar bought from a local store today. They import their leaves from Cuba and roll them in their store.
They remind me of a nice monecristo cigar and smoke great. Still very young, mabel not even a month old.
Had a two year old La Aurora 1465 and watched the Phillies win.
Smoking a Don Pepin Black robusto and cathcing up on my golf, cigar, and Razor forums.
Enjoyed a Fuente Fuente Opus X (thought it fitting to match the SRD Opus X lather from this morning). Enjoyed outside on a balcony in the chilly fall air after sunset.
Had some more boxes and goodies come in. The new Viaje Skull n Bones, Illusione Singulaire, more Face, Tatuaje Angeles, etc. I am out of humidor room. Gotta get smoking!
2005 Partagas Serie P No. 2, 2006 Romeo y Julieta Churchill, 1997 Partagas 898 and 1998 H. Upmann Sir Winston the last week.
Thank you! I have a cab of 50 Bolivar Coronas Extra from 07. The quality of the cigars judging by the way they look are absolutely fantastic. Wonderful smell and perfect, silky and quite dark wrappers. I have not smoked any of them yet, but Bolivar are among my favorite marcas, especially the Coronas Gigantes and Coronas Extra. Good luck with Habanos learning experience and your new cabinet of Bolivars!
I was gifted one of the Boli 07 and it was amazing, so that's why I bought a cab. :)
This morning I am enjoying an Oliva V torpedo.
Now I'm smoking Illusione's first limited yearly cigar - the Singulaire. Started off just like a cg:4 and smoothed out in the middle.
Enjoying an Oliva V torpedo that has been aging for a bit. Combine that with 3 fingers of Oban 14 single malt and a clear night with a big full moon and it is a nice end to the day.
Had a beautiful young 08 Trini, Reyes with a little Laphroig 18.
Staring at the same moon as cannonfodder.
Wow, great cigars and great Scotch pairings!
Enjoyed a morning cigar with a a friend before work this afternoon.
Enjoyed a Romeo chruchill from his excellent humidor. Smoked like a dream.
Had a Padilla Obsidian 06 at lunch. Found 15 Gurkha Masters Selects in the bottom of my aging humi that I forgot about. Been there probably 3 years. Working on one of those this evening. Not bad, not my favorite stick but time has been good for them.
Not much of a moon this evening, overcast night but I swear it is still upper 60 tonight. Freaky warm evening for this time of year.
Today I had a CAO LX2 BAM, the 4x44 boxpress powerhouse. These are great, strong cigars for when you don't have a lot of time. Also had an Illusione 888 later when I had time to sit and enjoy myself a little longer.
2010 Partagas Series D Limited eddition. Excellent cigar.
Recently had a Joya De Nicaragua Antano Dark Corojo and I must say I have found a new favorite to add to the bunch with this one. Great cigar!
A good infused one I tried a few months back is the Drew Estate Isla Del Sol...yeah it's an infused cigar, but it's coffee infused and the best coffee infused I've had at that. Everyone I've recommended this one to loves it.
Smoking a DPG Black robusto.
Enjoying a Bolivar Inmensas with 8 years in my cellar on it`s back. This is what smoking a cigar is about for me, the strong, intence consentration of several complex flavours only a Cuban cigar has managed to give me. The dominant taste is chocolate made with natural vanilla and a high concentration of cocoa, but white peppar, hay, the "crema" of an Espresso and cinnamon are also present. Now back to the BdN Champagne and the cigar:)
Indian Tabac Maduro mid day and a Punch Rare Corojo from last years release this evening.
After a big dinner I had a delicious La Riqueza torpedo paired with a Woodford's. When the Woodford's ran out I had a Laphroiag. Good 3 way. ;)
After dinner enjoyed an '08 Party, Connie 3 with a cup of dark French roast coffee.
Quiet, peaceful night with a most enjoyable smoke.
These will soon be gone, what a shame.
Been a busy day today. Winding down the evening with a CAO MX2 with a couple years of rest on it.
Smoked some great stuff over the weekend. Viaje Double Edge Sword, Tatuaje Black robusto, Nestor Miranda Art Deco, and an Illusione 888 Slam were the big highlights.
The last few weeks have been quite stressful, so I settled in and enjoyed a Casa Torano Robusto.
During the weekend I was at a lonely cabin up in the mountains for some fishing and relaxing. I smoked several cigars like Trinidad Coloniales, Reyes and Fundadores, Diplomaticos No. 2, Montecristo No. 2 and a Cohiba Robusto. Wish a weekend like that would last forever...
A "JUAN LOPEZ SELECCION No.2"...nice finish to the day as I settle in now to watch the vote results.
An OR Cohiba Maduro 5 Secreto...........they are coming along! :)
Romeo y Juliet Duke 2009 Edicion Limitada. Nice smoke.
2009 Romeo y Juliet Limited Edition "Duke"
During the holidays:
Trinidad Fundadores 1998
Partagas Lusitanias 1997
Partagas 898 1997
Hoyo de Monterrey Double Corona 1999
Cohiba Lanceros 2001
Cohiba Siglo VI Tubos 2003
Romeo y Julieta Churchill 2006
I tend to favor Partagas. Lately I've been smoking some LaUnica's - mild and very nice. Also got a box of Monica L's - I know, i know but that's the name of these mild to medium coronas, actually a very nice smoke. A friend of mine has a cigar/coffee shop in Palm Springs, FL. and I get them from him.
Just finished a Partagas P1 from the jar. I love these young cigars.
2005 Partagas Serie P no. 2. Wonderful almost "old school" Cuban cigar.
Punch Super Selection 2003. A cigar like this reminds me why I just love Cuban cigars, one of lifes finest treats.
Diplomaticos Number 4.....6 year old and excellent. One of my favorite brands from Cuba. :)
