Got about 2" of this one left.
I'll be stabbing it with a screw in a few minutes, because its just too tasty to throw out until it burns my teeth.
The wrapper on that Liga Privada looks tasty! I had me a La Duena Belicoso this morning.

Yesterday was a smoking kinda day here in AZ. Wet and cool.
started off the day with a diamond crown Figardo 6x64. When I say that this is a mild smooth cigar I mean if my eyes were closed I would be hard pressed to say if it were lit! easily over powered by a strong cup of coffee, yet it is a very refined cigar. The flavors are there, but subtle. Lightly sweet and creamy. perfect construction and burn. Not a stick I would normaly smoke, but all in all a good smoke. Would I buy it? no, if i am spending $20 of my hard earned money I am buying somthing in my wheel house. That said it was a good smoke. I am sure alot of people out there would love that stick.
After lunch I had a comacho corojo robusto. May not be big, but it is big in flavor! damn I had forgotton how good corojo can be.... spice leather sweetness and rocket fuel! definately complex and strong, but not overwhelming. A good companion stick.
I smoked a bowel of tastemaster while closing the shop and a part of a bowel of captain cool while cleaning. Then we headed on over to our scottsdale location for our holiday party. Lots of food from Bucca di Beppo, beer and wine...After dinner the boss handed us each a Padron 1964 principe to enjoy. I decided to get the Maduro princip and what a great choice it was. Tons of flavor. Dark coco and fig play off earthy undertones. great ending to a pretty good day!
Oh and we just found out we are having another baby! sooooo time to plan what stick to give out on the big day ;)
Never smoke because you have to...smoke because you love to.... :) enjoy gentlemen
Hi gents,
Im a complete novice to cigar smoking... in fact any kind of smoking. Ive had these two stored in my drawer for some time and im thinking about giving it a try.
These were given to me a few years ago by a customer who purchased them in Cuba. We got talking and he recommended giving them a try.
Heres the pic:

What do you think? are these nice cigars? are they too old to smoke?
Ok totally just posted a very well written and intellegent reply which my computer deleted. If that one pops up again sorry for posting again.
basically your cigars are toast. you can try to revive them with propylene glycol solution on a humidification disc or a jar of xikar crystals in a bag with them until springy again, but they will never be a fresh cuban again.
Padron 2000.
Has the Government made it Legal in the U.S. to buy Cubian Cigars here now There is a New Cigar Store here and a Big sign say Fresh Cubian cigars haven't been able to get there so I decided to here.

A visit to new hope, pa - my cigar shop is right next to a shaving accessories shop. Today's fine smoke from A Little Taste of Cuba is a nice full bodied Nat Sherman, and a soap refill and rep-shave cream from Edwin Jagger rounds out my shopping experience!
Padron 2000. Again.
I worked the shop all day yesterday so I ended up smoking way more than I would have normally.
First I wanted to give Diamond crown another shot so I grabbed the #6 Figardo Maduro figuring that the maduro would offer a more pronounced flavor profile. Man was I disappointed. The cigar is elegantly made and no flaws (there was a tight draw, but after I used the cigar poker it opened right up) but the flavor is not there. It does smoke cool and smooth, but its hollow. Maybe the box has had too much humidor time....
Next was the 3 Reynas 6x60. This cigar continually amazes me. I hate the Robusto size, but the 6x60 brings more air in to fully develope the highly flavorful damn near black connecticut broad leaf maduro. I am in love with this cigar so I will not continue to wax poetic about it! lol
As we were working my co-worker accidently busted a 1964 Padron Pyramid. He let me smoke it instead of Boo-Booing it out. I was deeply appreciative of this. If you have not smoked a 64 Padron Anniversary honestly you truly need to pony up and get one. The flavors are deep and sweet (in a natural way) the smoke is voluminous and the construction and burn are perfect. One of my top 10 sticks ever
As the superbowl started I realized I would need another stick to keep my attention so I grabbed a Partagas Benji 2012. This was my 2nd of the stick this year and I must say that I am very impressed with it. It is complex and ever changing through out the stick all while maintaining a sweet creaminess. I always like the yearly Benji, this one is up there with the 2010 offering.
well thats that for now.
Only smoke what you enjoy my friends :)
Padron 2000.

I am completely unashamed to admit I am envious of you. Sounds like a great day.
Yesterday I started with a Brickhouse mighty mighty while working on the house and making calls. Then wrapped up the day with a rocky Patel 1990 after dinner and a partagas black label with an evening cup of tea with a friend.

I've heard good things about Punch, but never tried it myself. I'm currently smoking my way through a box of Gurkha Empire III. It's pretty mild, has a nice taste, and is a really even burn.
Alec Bradley American Classic Blend to start the morning with a cup of local Steam Shovel coffee.
La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero Chisel Maduro.
Interesting and tasty cigar.:)

Padron 1964 Anniversary Principe Maduro. Very nice, indeed.
I've had the Champion a time or two. Not bad, sweet to my palate and I kinda enjoy the funky perfecto shape. The Punch London Marduro is a great bottom dollar smoke. About $2(U.S.) and more or less a cinnamon blast of a taste. Sorry the Quorum turned out bad. I don't like bourbon but I love 'Bulleit Rye'.
