Thanked: 1160Gawd you guys !!!................Now ahm cravin da Mojitoooooo !! Lest we all forget...let's make sure to have a good shave before or after our Mojito so that the ladies can see how extra manly we all are now hahaha ! And it helps if yer wearin suspenders so ya kin let dangle the straps while lookin in the mirror for that extra manly look. 1)Take a shave stroke 2)take a sip of mojito 3) take a cigar puff, repeat. Just don't get careless with the blade while tryin to look ultra manly cool in an Al Capone kinda way now heh heh ........"wastin away again in ......Mojitoville !

Mojito
I don't want to hurt any feelings but I have never had a Mojito. But for the good news, I am going on leave in a couple of weeks and I will take great pleasure mixing one or...five of those drinks for myself.

A Caipirinha is a Brazilian drink made of Cachaca, lime and sugar. You muddle the lime fruit with the sugar then add Cachaca, shake and serve in an old fashioned glass. If you're not familiar - Cachaca is similar to rum except that it's made from cane sugar and thus has a stronger flavor. (Rum is made from molasses.) It is a tasty beverage, but a more potent potable than a Mojito, which is easier to drink for some folks.

Thanked: 1195I first experienced The Mighty Mojito during my honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta at the beginning of the year. Truly heaven in a tall glass my brothers!
For some reason I can't bring myself to order one here at home as I'm a beer/wine/whisky guy. I seem to mostly associate Mojitos with tropical paradise.... which means I'll probably be booking another trip to Mexico sooner rather than later. I can almost taste it now.....

Makes me think of our old friend Chancecatalyst (Evan) and our late nite discussions of Mojitos and the other fine things in life back when chat was still in The Cave.

Thanked: 953If you are feeling lazy, dark rum (like goslings) plus ginger beer and a little lime is pretty good too.
