I have 2 and really only use 1. I have been smoking tobacco from a local "head" shop and can get tobacco for $4 an ounce. Why does the ones that most of you have been posting cost like $14? Are they really any better?

Because you can't really find pipe tobacco for $4/€4 an ounce from here.
Cheapest pipe tobacco i know is about 8 €, and good blends start from say 10-12 €. Real luxury blends cost much more but i do not think they are so much better.
