Ditto there Jon,
I prefer my tobacco a little dry more now as the light is better for me but of course results may vary with different tobaccos. You could maybe be puffing to aggressively also in that respect ? Aggressive puffing with a wetter tobacco can increase goo buildup more quickly.
Been using these for about thirty years. Four different diameters for different sized bowls, just use the one that is a little smaller than the bowl and work that around. You can work them around the sides of the bowl to trim the cake to your desired thickness. Don't need to just "drill" a hole straight down at the reamers width. They are actually very versatile when you get the hang of it.
Heading outside to work around the house, my grungy outside tools, I love em.
Yeah i got the same in my workshop
Pipe at the walk around here. Dockworker flakes from Hardcastle.
