Just some more Bayou Morning in a little Black Sea Rock with coffee. I've actually been smoking a little more Latakia's and am trying to decide which of the two I have open is better. Both are C & D's, the Engine 99 seems to be a more traditional English but the Mountain Camp just has a real nice smokey flavor.
I've got a 1911 detailed stripped and cleaned on my bench that needs to be put back together this morning. It's my Friday.
First pipe of the day was a cob with Boswells best and a bit of 5 Brothers mixed with it. Just finished the last pipe of the day and it was my Moonshine prohibition sitter with Fire Storm. The pre-light draw on the firestorm reminded me of prunes and dried figs. I enjoyed the tobacco. Hope you all have a great week.

Finishing a bowl of Bayou Morning in a little Black Sea Rock that I started last night when I got home from work. Heading up to the department I retired from today for a visit and qualifications to keep my retired LEOSA card (nationwide concealed carry). Just in case I get real frustrated with my current department and tell them I'm done. Anyway, hard to believe it's been 7 1/2 years since I retired. I have three more years before I can retire from the department that I'm at now. I was the Chief Firearms Instructor for the department for about twenty years so it will be good to see the young guys that took over the program when I left.
A Wilson Prefessional, Wilson Stealth, Sig P238 and a Ruger LCP. That pretty much covers any guns that I actually carry. I'm also bringing my Les Baer PII so I can take that to the rifle range and shoot steel silhouettes at 100 yards.
Loading a Sea Rock with Haunted Bookshop for the ride up.
Thanks for removing the extra pic. I've posted pics the way you described before with no problems, but I'm tending to leave my laptop at the office these days so I didn't have it to hand when I wanted to post the pic. Posting from my phone has never gone smoothly, but I'll try the go advanced feature next time.
Today I had some more revor plug, but the bit I had in the jar that was already cut only filled half the bowl. Rather than cut more I topped it up with GQ's burper kake. Interesting flavours during the changeover and not at all unpleasant.
Had a great day visiting and qualifying but the young kids from when I was there are now kind of the old guys, I guess that makes me a dinosaur. Anyway a great day and I can still out shoot the kids.
Haunted Bookshop in a Castello Collection KKKK.
This morning, post cardiac rehab, and with black coffee, was Monford Point Marine in my estate Canadian Savinelli. Upon opening the tin and smelling it was rich dried fruits like prunes and figs supported by Perique and Latakia. Smooth with no bite and delivering slowly mellowing nicotine.
After dinner Billy Budd in a cob which I always enjoy.
I am enjoying C&D's tobacco blends and their marketing attitude.
