Started my morning with a MM full of Low Country Waccamaw, a strong Italian roast coffee and a splash of Wild Turkey American Honey (they say hair of the dog will help ya on a rough morning after). Pictures will be up soon.

One thing I love about pipes: you can get a great experience from an $8 pipe and $8 tobacco, or a $200 pipe and $20 tobacco. I enjoy the full spectrum, so far. Variety is fun!

I would just love to find an $8 dollar tobacco here...Hell, I'd love to fine a $20 tobacco! We fork out just short of $40 for a tin/pouch of tobacco for the cheap stuff! Some tobacco's are much more! Most of that price is government taxes.

Luckily, I can order from the US. I've yet to get dinged, though I'm sure it will happen eventuality. Our prices on tobac are pretty high, too.

Decent tobaccos like SG, Capstan, Germains and Erinmores are about 10-14 €/50 g (1,75 oz) tin and some 'sophisticated' blends like WO Larsens and Dunhills costs for few € more. Cheap end tobaccos like Amphora, Clan or local blends are about 6-8 €/pouch. Prices have gone high within few years. About 50-60% of these prices are taxes.
I usually visit at our southern neighbors few times a year and get me enough tobacco to get going for few months. SG's, Rattrays etc costs about 8-9 €/tin.
Cheapest place i've been was probably Kosova (part of the former Yugoslavia), but that was years ago. Also last time i visited Spain few years ago, Capstans were about 6€/tin (surprisingly far from tourist areas).
