Packing to go to Las Vegas for a few days and hitting the Chelsea Morning....right now it's burning in a Dorchester Adjustomatic (by Comoys) from 1946. Looking forward to some time off after so much work in the shop lately. I have two more smooth pipes started that I should finish on tuesday or wednesday of next week after my return. I posted a very large sandblasted freehand yesterday for anyone interested. Have a great weekend all!

I will be going to a burning of the winter solstice witch next Saturday night, some local Danes have been doing it for years, good evening, last year we had a partial eclipse at that moment, a propitious event.
Cheers all
Ps will have some photos of some clay pipes and a pipe cabinet as soon as they arrive.

Happy midsummer eve you all, Gents! Known as Juhannus in Finnish.
This is the most important celebration of the year here. Also known as the celebration of light and nightless night, officially St John's Eve and the old people still call it as Ukonpäivä (Celebration of Thor).
Tonight people are lightning bonfires on the lakesides and seashore. Traditionally single girls are making tricks and magic to find themselves handsome boyfriends (probably they still do, but the tricks are more modern these days).
Here's my pipe for the night:

And just another pic i took few minutes ago behind our back yard. It is the darkest hour of the nightless night.
