Full Virginia Flake in a Peterson silver Spigot. I've always been a fan of Virginia tobacco's, but have been drifting away to English blends as of late. I don't know what it is about the hypnotic FVF that reels me back in. It's the "comfort food" of my tobacco world, lol!

I have three Dunhill tobaccos, and they all smell of smoked meat to me. What is it that makes them smell like that? Is it a process or a type of tobacco?

Had my first pipe smoke in 40 years today. Got a used Julius Vesz, cleaned her up and loaded her up and got kicked outside to smoke it by the wifey. Oh well, it was a warm day -3C, sorta goes hand and hand with the cold water shaves I am doing.

Julius Vesz' shop is a five minute walk from where I'm sitting right now at the office. I steer clear because otherwise I'd spend even MORE money on pipes.
Sorry to hear, or actually not so sorry as it is your choice.
At some point ofthe joyrney, try to get on without the cancer nails (as we call cigarettes) for a week or two.
After that you should easily notice that you can't find the taste of a real tobacco from cigarettes.rather they taste like paper.
Howevers. You are the man in charge.
