The older stories are much better than recent ones, imho.
Not so funny actually, but they rather have a bit same as Corto Maltese: tragedy, femmes fatales and not-so-happy-endings.
Now as we're surprisigly off topic, i have to mention another master of the genre: André Franquin. Not so much about his works made for kids but his 'Idées noires' were a timeless masterpieces.
Currently watching the hobbit while smoking this Butz Choquin..........seems very fitting .:medvl:

I haven't seen The Hobbit, but am a big fan of the book. Is it worth watching?
Thought I'd share my morning pipe. The tobacco is a blend from my local tobacconist called "Pipe Dream". I also wanted to show off the pipe I picked up in Ft. Wayne this weekend.
