But here's something at least some of you might find more interesting: M/s Famnen, ex mine sweeper DR-2, ex US Navy st-class ST-343. Built 1944 in Beresford Florida by American Machinery Corporation, served in Normandy on D-Day. Nowadays does coastal transports in my home town:

I once posted on here that I had a church warden custom ordered in the mail and never received it. Since then a lot has happened, I had been sent home early from my deployment in Afghanistan, my dad was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer and passed away. I feel very fortunate that I got to spend some time with dad before he passed and he knew I made it home safe. I decided after being a pack a day then jumping to well over a pack a day after I had found out he was diagnosed to giving up tobacco completely.
