Out of a month-long stay in hospital to get diagnosed (finally!) and treatment for a rar brain disease similar to meningitis. Beside losig a lot of memory, balance and thinking-stuff I lost my taste for pipes and cigars. Mercy - it came back in December. Can't figure out how to take/post a new picture but the pipe of the month has been a MM General and a Preben Holm stuffed with some kind of flake - can't remeber what it is. Square-cut flake, thin with a hint of caramel aroma in the baggie; Mrs Moo said it smelled good in her car. I think I got it from a Raleigh B&M, bulk. Stokkebye?

Can't drive but the Porsche CLub guys come and get me once/week and let me ride biatch in my car (or theirs). Last trip was to JR Cigar in Selma, NC. Nice.

And no, I'm not smoking & reloading at the same time. The bullet tray is at the same level it was last night. Powder, primers & pipe do not mix. As I looked around my garag.....er smoking lounge, it just seemed like the best spot. Maybe I should have opted for the wife's pink bike seat?

A short while ago I mentioned my grandchild on the way. Her name is Alaina.

I bought two General style Cobs and my son and I Celebrated on the back steps this evening with some 3 Star Grey!

    Default FIRST NEW PIPE

This is my first new pipe apart from my cob. Thought I get it while I am waiting for a custom pipe from Crow Pipes. It is a reject/basket pipe by Lorenzo. Anyone heard of these? I got it mainly because I like the stem.
Small pocket pipe had my first smoke from it today with just half a bowl, it does have a filter which can be removed. Smoked well I think, and sits well in the mouth. Not a brand I have come across before. Hope you are all having a great Sunday.

Nice pipe. I especially like the finish. Quite elegant.

G&H Happy Brown Bogie in an Edwards prince. It's a beautiful sunny day out and I was just sitting out on the lanai smoking, drinking coffee and reading a book

Frankly I think the brass bins are a bit more in keeping with the manly art of pipe smoking, just sayin

Heard of Lorenzo, never tried one though. Love the little basket pipe. I got a little no name Czech Basket pipe(4') that most people would probably think as a novelty pipe. Best damn little pocket /work pipe I have and smokes quite well ......Name: 001.jpg
