You just made me realize, I confused Deep Hollow and Virginia Woods.

After almost two weeks on the road, a bit over 2500 miles, I'm finally home and had my first pipe since leaving. A big cob full of my own blending. I mix 3/4 OJK, 1/8 Irish flake, 1/16 Mumford Pointe Marine, and 1/16 Navy flake.

You'll have to excuse the extra whiskers, I've been running so much I havn't had the time or energy to trim the beard nearly as much as I usually do.

So, after finding this thread and reading through about 20 pages, I had to go up to the office and free my old Stanwell #217 from the desk drawer. It's been languishing there for a few years, since SWMBO decided no more smoking in the house. I'll be stopping by the tobacco shop, tomorrow, for a nice cavendish blend of some sort, though. We'll get reacquainted, on the back porch. Straight razors, pipes, and tobacco; yep, I can tell I'm really going to like this place.

Sounds very similar to how I started back in the hobby. I had one Savinelli I bought in college. I don't even remember how many pipes I picked up in the last few years, but it is a lot. Lets not even talk about tobacco tins. I like this place, my wallet does not.

My POTD was an Omar King Poker with Mississippi River. But if my SWMBO asks, I was working and not on the porch smoking in the middle of the day.

You my good sir need a tuff shed with insulation and a desk n chair to call yer own man cave. If that is possible anyway. Then you can smoke indoors when it's Winter and enjoy a hot cup O Joe and all that other good stuff that we doods love !
