I smoked some Half & Half in it... Trying to get a cake started... It will be an Aro pipe when it's done or maybe a VaPer... Really haven't decided...

Well I guess if it's OK... His name is Tim George, very nice man who makes pieps in his off time... Visit his site and you will see what he is all about... And NO... I don't get anything from him other than my dream pipes that I pay full price for...

Buckeye no sandblaster!!! Hey just take the stem off and put it in a glass of Clorox bleach for 20 minutes then use 600 grit wet dry sandpaper to get the oxidation off.Run cold water over the stem then repeat process a couple of times. After that use paste car wax or better yet Tripoli with a Dremel with buffer head. If you don't have a Dremel use a clean cotton cloth. After this it will really shine!
I've cleaned and refurbished pipes for some time and that's a good way to get the crud off. Also Dunhill makes a small tube of bowl wax to buff the shine back into any bowl.

I was hoping one of the more experienced guys could help me out. I have been smoking this Nording Freehand for about a week and I just noticed where the stem meets the base, the hole is not circular. The stem obviously fits in nice and snug, but is it possible that this slight defect could be causing a loose seal?

It is probably too late to bring this up to the vendor, but maybe you guys can tell me if this is an issue or not?

    Thanks!
