Thanks for the tip. I think it will actually look better with the darker grain. I was surprised at how much lighter the freehand is than my other one. A very noticeable difference.

I was wondering if someone can help me out on something else I noticed. There is a tiny bump next to the air hole in the bottom of the bowl. It is rock hard and seems like it is supposed to be there as it is symmetrical. Just curious as my other pipe does not have this and the entire bowl is smooth at the bottom. Is this something to be concerned about or is this normal?

    Default First Freehand Smoke!

Erik Nording Freehand | CAO Bella Vanilla

Tonight was my first smoke with the new Nording Freehand and I was very pleased. I enjoyed it much more than my other Nording. I really like how the Freehand design fit in my hand perfectly.

I got mine from Bonds of London. I got a Peterson pipe and a tin of Petersons Sunset Breeze, which is a nice mild aromatic vanilla tobacco.

Thats my first (and so far only) pipe and baccy, and I'd recommend Peterson as a good port of call for a first pipe. They're not too pricey, well made and their tobacco's are good.

Heres a couple of other good UK sites:

If I get one, it will be picked up at a car boot and cleaned up probably. If I'm going to do it, it won't be very often so will be done really on the cheap.

    Gentlemen,

Just got back home after been at work for 6 days, working my ass off and having not too much sleep either.
Upon homecoming it is time to reward myself with Jirsa pipe, Peterson tobacco and cold, strong lager. Life smiles again!
