Oh man that's great! I've been watching for an original but they are either way overpriced or to beat up to use. I really like the Norinco though. One of the big time Cowboy shooters that does a lot of custom work on model 97's etc got with Norinco and they agreed to make the changes he designated to produce a more durable better looking shotgun. They certainly succeeded to in every area I expected. One change was using Missouri walnut for the stocks and good bluing rather than the thin bluing they normally use. They also did hand fitting of most internal parts where function was critical.
They are sure worth every penny:-) Glad you liked the blog.

i have a buddy that owns a sporting goods store and he`s always buying used guns... he said they come in time to time so i told him to keep and eye open for me. well 2 years ago i stopped in and he had one 4 me. real good shape and solid. the only problem it has a 30in barrel. trying to find a shorter barrel before i decide to cut it down. got it for 400 bucks.

$400 for one in great shape is a really good deal. Most I've seen are $600 or better. Great score!!

    Pipe: Discount Savinelli, fantastic smoke
Tobacco: Blend of my own devising; a smooth burly, some condiments, and a healthy dose of latakia.
    Scotch: Ardbeg 10
