clocks are cool and all....but what about scales for a razor? they used tortoise for scale material before...why cant someone do it now?
And of course it always sucks to have the animal suffer more than it needs to. Maybe just make sure its a clean kill without the dropping and well all be happy
I think this can go to all you hunters out thre too, dont let them suffer!
And no im not an animal activist or anything, i just dont like needless suffering.

I like the idea of using the shell for decor. Since it's a small animal that has large community numbers I think it's almost required that some folks find uses for the animal's bits.
I would've dropped the little guy too, if he scratched me. My girlfriend's cats always scratch me when they run over my leg and it always gets me to jump. I don't think they would look good as a clock though.
Are the numbers brass?
