You should have told him to check out Neil's album Mirrorball. Pearl Jam was his backup band on that one.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

The kid was right, though, wasn't he? It's funny, I used to love Neil when I was maybe 19-20, then it was later (maybe 25ish?) I got in to Pearl Jam. I listened to Pearl Jam a LOT for years, and still do. They toured here with Ben Harper a couple of years ago and it was a great concert. These days though I listen to The Brian Jonestown Massacre almost constantly...

You have to give this track some time, but at about the 55 second mark you're tripping, 60's style...

One of my favorite bands is Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
Here is a track off there latest album.
Let The Day Begin a cover from the band The Call who's lead singer Michael Been was the father of Robert Been the singer and bass player in the B.R.M.C.

Here is The Calls version as well. I love the tribute that Robert did and played his dads song.

    There both killer tracks.
    Hope you enjoy!!!

I was listening to this one earlier, great song I hadn't thought of in a while. This performance is from The Midnight Special, which I'm sure a few of us remember

For some strange reason, Arlo Guthrie popped into mind. I thought I'd check his tour schedule, as he plays around this area once in a while. Well, day late and a dollar short again! He was just down the road from me on 18 April! Anyway, here's Arlo live somewhere, I wish I could have been in a crowd to hear him. Next time......

As I sit in front of my work computer I have some classic Metallica playing: Some Kind of Monster.
