    I'm old school & I even remember a movie they made about it I saw when I was a teen called Go Ask Alice.
    About Bobby Gentry, I Googled her & saw that she was married to Jim Stafford for a very short time. I remember that song about the Wildwood Weed.

    it's amazing how certain songs can take us back to a certain time in life! I remember hearing Brown Sugar at the University of Houston swimming pool. Other old songs take me back when I hear them.
