"The one who has knowledge uses words with restraint, and whoever has understanding is even-tempered. Even fools are thought wise if they keep silent, and discerning if they hold their tongues." PR 17: 27-28

I convict myself by this proverb
Iron by iron is sharpened, And a man sharpens the face of his friend. PR 27:17

There are several different understandings of the words to Sound of Silence as you say.

I believe the song is about a nightmare as many others do based on the words, here are the first two verses:

    Hello, darkness, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again
    Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
    Still remains
    Within the sound of silence

In restless dreams I walked alone
    Narrow streets of cobblestone
'Neath the halo of a streetlamp
I turned my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light
    That split the night
And touched the sound of silence

For linking a youtube video rather than a link, this is what works for me. This is on a PC, no idea how things look on a phone...

When you hit reply, look for these links, and click on the film icon:

    Name: Screenshot 2021-01-18 134242.jpg
Views: 100
Size: 4.8 KB

    This should bring up this:

    Name: Screenshot 2021-01-18 134502.jpg
Views: 119
Size: 24.2 KB

Copy the video's address in the box, click OK, and it should show up in your post.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

My mother LOVED Boogie Woogie. She knew how to Jitterbug. She'd have dug the hell out of this little impromptu bit--

You know he didn't really want to write that symphony. He was persuaded 10 years after the 8th.
