Diana Krall, "Wallflower"
It is beginning to feel a bit like springtime here today, and thoughts of joy usually don't stray too far from thought of spring. And with thoughts of joy comes Ludwig Van.

I've been cleaning up The Boars Nest after my adventure with making Dill Onion Bread with some Tommy Emanuele in the background so I thought that I'd shave a little video clip of a man who I think is a Genius with a guitar. No Formal Training, just listening to Chet Atkins records in the outback of the land down under.
As always I hope all will enjoy;

Really sweet Remake and Cover of the 1971 Shuggie Otis, and the 1977 Brothers Johnson hit Strawberry Letter 23
Caught just a snippet of it on the new H&M commercial and had to hunt it down

Currently, as in right now, Fever by Kylie Minogue. Not even ashamed.
Listening to/watching "Fire and Water" era Free live at Granada TV Studios in Manchester, UK from July 1970. Paul Kossoff's playing will melt your face. Greasy '59 Les Paul neck pickup straight into 100 watt Marshall Super Lead tone and BB King style "hand of God" vibrato for days!!!! Add to that the fact that Paul Rogers is the one guy who could actually wear the most ridiculous late 60's/early 70's clothing and still manage to be the coolest mofo you ever saw plus that rhythm section of Andy Fraser and Simon Kirke and you have one hell of a band. RIP Paul and Andy.

The San Diego Padres won 1 to 0.
One of the best songs ever, and still as actual as in the seventies.

Have anyone of you guys checked out Three Days Grace's new album Human, it was released early April. It's got a few tracks on it that aren't bad. Not the same as the 3DG of my childhood in the late 90's early 2000's. It's the first album with a different singer since the old one left. Landmine, I am Machine, Fallen Angel are just to name a few of the tracks.
