Doing some weight training at the gym and some laps around the track, great song to get the energy flowing, can't believe this song is 15 years old.

I do hope that I'm not breaking any rules here, but it does say 'What Are You Listening To' and I've just listened to a gentleman of great wisdom and humor. Mr Red Skelton. I hope all will enjoy this.

As someone who was scarred by too much crappy Christmas music played while working in shopping malls way back when, I generally can't stand most Christmas/holiday music. Thankfully Shave, Kirsty, and the b'ys gave us this antidote. :)
May you all find time to spend with friends and family in the coming days.

Marty is the real deal. He plays Blue Grass and Country Music at the roots of where it originated. I enjoy watching his TV show on RFDTV. He loves bringing his style of music to the masses. There is a small music hall in a small town in KY. He brings his band and plays usually once a year. The ticket prices are eight dollars. (Yes Eight Dollars). "Keeping The Sound Real" not like the country/pop/ crossover stars today.
Almond Brothers...always classic.

Watching and listening, Sting A Winter's Night - Live from Durham Cathedral. Durham is England's most famous cathedral. A truly diverse collection of songs, carols, and lullabies spanning the centuries.
Music by as diverse a group of muscians from around the world, ranging from Northumbrian's Kathryn Tickell and her brother Peter with their fiddles as well as Kathryn on Northumbrian Smallpipes to Dominic Miller's guitar. Cuban Laila Biali is just one of the vocal backups.
Merry Christmas folks and God Bless you and your families.

I stumbled upon this by Joe Cocker. To see the attendance present to see and hear him perform is incredible! Not from lack of talent but due to him not being on 'The Charts' for ages. Says volumes about him and his fans. God Rest His Soul.

I am glad to see that I am not the only person with an extremely eclectic variety in music. I just finished downloading some music from a Christmas gift card. Some of the music selected included: Strange Fruit; 50 Ways to Leave your lover; Nobody's Fool and Pretty Good at Drinking Beer..
Now I can point to someplace when my wife gives me a hard time about my music choices and say "See, I'm not the only one"
Music is truly a universal language, just like smiling:beer1:
Grand Funk Railroad, "Inside Out"....turn it up!

Soul Asylum.
They are not as loud or heavy as their name would lead you to believe.
Give them a go. You will be surprised.
Here's something from the past/40's I hope all will enjoy

TV Girl "Bird's Don't Sing"

"She said how could you joke at a time like this
I know why
'Cause this is what you wanted all along
Now isn't it
I think that all you ever really ever wanted
Was a reason to complain
That never stopped you before
Don't let it get in your way
Those are her words not mine
As far as I'm concerned
We could have had a good time
So, if you walk out that door in disgust
I guess there's nothing more to discuss"
Quoted straight from the gospel if you ask me. Well this track is how I'm starting off my day--I highly recommend it.
Cudarunner, for some reason, that is unavailable in our country. Obviously our government is protecting us from the evils of 1940's boogie woogie....:cen
One for a friend who went to a bit of extra effort today, and he is well known for going that extra mile. Most will remember this from the Blues brothers, here is the original.

He Couldn't Play S**t but he sure made it sound good.
