Heard this one on Pandora tonight. Not one of SRV's better known songs but really catchy and very old school, I dig it

Gotta change speeds...sorry. Ludivico Einaudi, Una Mattina. Haunting piano music that is in my opinion perfect shaving music. At least this week...lol.
Here's a couple more of Stevie Ray Vaughn
This is from his first appearance on Austin City Limits; he'd just come to National Attention and was pretty heavy into drugs, alcohol and had something to prove.

Here he is about 5 years later; clean and sober and just having fun!

The Pandora Christmas Song Radio while my wife prepares Thanksgiving dinner…and she just cut it off as I was typing this. I guess it's now movie time.
Not a big fan of the Foo Fighters, but if you get a chance take a look at their latest documentary series, Sonic highways. A musical education.

Charllie Musselwhite, everybody says they love me. This guy knows the harp.
Tommy Emmanuel.

I think Jim James might have been built to sing Dylan's lyrics. This is fantastic.

I decided to work on a beginner level (price wise) and I'm doing the hand work by the computer so I found this to listen to while I work. Great Show! I'd like to see him and his orchestra in person.

Love me some Tommy Emmanuel. Last summer I discovered this video on youtube and used it for a presentation for one of my classes. The presentation had lots of art, sculpture and cool buildings in it and the music just made it that much artsier (is that a word?). Tommy just a beast! What a talent! I'd kill to play a quarter as good as he does.
I hear a 'rumor' that he's going to be playing just down the road from you and that you will be in attendance/while if I were to get to see him perform I'd have to drive 600+miles round trip and find a room for the night before heading home.
hmmm what's wrong with this picture???:banghead:
The whole Evening :-)

I love Johnny Cash but be assured, only when he sings in english, be happy that you dont have to understand the
baddest translation of Johnny Cash songs ever had been made, i dont know if it was a joke for Johnny to sing in german
but im sure, if he knew that the german lyrics have nothing to do with the english original i wonder if he would have sing
the german Version.
i have been pumping Tool.

Saint Paul and the Broken Bones. Still find it hard to believe where that voice comes from.
Rockabilly tells me that the songs that the Beatles did in German are very well done.

Oh Yes, the Beatles Songs on german are very good translated, nearly to the same content as they have in english language although the german language is much complicated because of the many different grammatical pronouns and grammatical cases, if it wouldnt be my mother language im sure that it wouldnt be a language that i would like to learn.
Tonight its Teddy Boy Eve at my Home, i found some CD´s with Cavan and hear them one by one :-)

Mainly any of the "Moonshine Bandits" songs.
Going to my happy place. If the Jameson don't work the smooth jazz will. This is a local kid who has gained some notariety as a sax player. His stuff is really smooth and makes me think all is right with the world.

Of course no night of medicinal therapy or wanton debauchery would be complete without a little Stevie Ray. Cudarunner, is it just me or does this song sound a lot like Blue Jean Blues by ZZ Top (not wet shavers BTW)

Micheal, For some unknown reason I couldn't reply with a quote but I find the sound 'similar' but not exact. Perhaps it's more of the drum and the bass
