How about some Tennessee Ernie Ford doing a style that some may not associate him with/A BOOGIE!

System of a Down, been awhile since I heard that classic...now to find the mixed CD in the car and blast it in the car on the way in to downtown Toronto....should wake everyone up....
Awesome!
Love this song! I used to sit in my tent in the Desert and consul my soul with it wondering if I would make it home and contemplating the loneliness of command. It always lifted my spirits so that I could keep going as well as inspiring the troops to never give up. Thanks for this!
I'm listening to the self proclaimed 'Worlds Greatest Rock and Roll Band' sing about how Bob Willis is still the King.

The Rationals, "Feelin' Lost." Great mid-60s Michigan band. Too bad they never made it big.

Here in the Pacific Northwest, we had this entertainer and I listened to her more than once as she often performed here in little Walla Walla WA. She only had one big hit but it was a Million Seller. She was nominated for a Grammy but didn't receive it. Years later another young woman would re-make the song and that woman's name was Juice Newton.
I hope all will enjoy the original as much as I do.

Mostly Randy Travis or Norah Jones. Johnny Cash if I'm trying to get my office sorted....
This was recorded not long before I saw these guys play on the Eliminator tour at my first 'real' concert. It was in the old Winnipeg Arena, so the acoustics were absolutely horrible (the arena really had three claims to fame: the 'white out' during Jets playoff games, the huge portrait of the queen, and the atrocious acoustics). On top of that, our seats were terrible, up in the nosebleeds, right at the side of the stage. Despite that, it was absolutely brilliant. :)

The little band from Texas~! A classmate's sister was married to one of them.
We went over to the house and played pool in a room lined with gold records.
My boy was known to strut the halls with tickets protruding from his shirt-pocket!
Awesome talent there, good stuff!
