Been a while since I actually purposely went to watch a movie, but whilst doing nightshift the other week I switched over and ended up watching starship troopers 3, not as bad as you might imagine lol, lightened the mood at 2am lol

The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus was actually very good. The most beautiful looking movie I've seen in quite some time. The Korean hansel and gretel was pretty cool too.

+1 on Groundhog Day! "I'm sailing! Ahoy!"

The best movie I've seen recently was "Inception."

Now there are many classics and amazing movies but this has been the best movie in about 2 years for me (Lastly the Dark KnighT) Im a hugh Christopher Nolan fan, and he just seems to be getting better and better every year, and He really has his directing/writing down to a science. I dont think theres been a movie from him that I dint like. I also thought KickASS was a great movie and done very well, although i dont see Nick Cage winning any Oscars for it. ALso there are many more I thought were great films recently but would start with these 2.

SO i open it up to you now lets see how many new movies I have to rent/netflix

Also for those who are into cinematography a really great movie is The Assassination of Jesse James( the one with brad pitt, I know I know...) The locations are so beautifully shot , and the movie is very good IMO ( but dont expect it to be a shootin gun slinger movie) Its a drama that deals more with Bob Ford and his obsession with Jesse. Dont know if its terribly accurate but it is worth a watch. Also it has one of the best Shaving soundtracks I have ever heard( its pretty much piano and violin and cello). I shave to it almost religiously .

EDIT: Also There will be blood, and N Country for Old Men are worth a watch
