Thanked: 1936I looked at the "blue ducks" and they are SD-20D's. It hit 104 F yesterday and thank God that I was in one of them...the air conditioning kept up. I'm going to get on a loaded coal train at 7am...
Now that you mention it, you are right on the ES44AC. It's 4400hp and made by GE. I like them, but they are tempermental sometimes. The only locomotive I don't care for is one that has a "table top" control stand. They are uncomfortable to operate.Southeastern Oklahoma/Northeastern Texas helper. I play with HO when I have the time. I also like building making my own scenery - buildings, etc...
