I've been fishing since i was a kid. I live about 100 m from the shoreline so going to fishing is easy. Luckily my son shares the same interest and usually we go fishing together.
I'm not sure if my translation is correct but zanders, lavarets, perches and pikes have been very common here. Also with the net you get flounders. There's no better food than warm, freshly smoked zander or flounder.
During the last few years seal have become so common that nowadays you wont get much fish any more. Seals have either eaten most of the fish or fish have escaped into safer waters.'That is what i do. I drink and i know things'

Thanks! I need to spend some more time at the vise. I got behind in my tying last winter. But then, I'm behind in my fishing this summer, what with DIY around the house.
been thinking about tying flys.
Seriously, for bluegills and crappie, you could keep it a lot more reasonable and tie some real fish-getters. There are a lot of effective foam patterns, like ants and hoppers that aren't too difficult (or expensive) to tie.

I have been addicted to fishing since i was 6. In Florida you can fish year round and we grow them bigger down here. Buckeye, i used to live in the Cinci area. Lived in Fairfield, Hamilton, Mt.Healthy. There is a little pond north of Hamilton called Rush Run i think. Ever heard of it? This pond is on a state park if i remember and was FULL of cover. Tree stumps galore. You have to take a small john boat in with a trolling motor. I haven't been there since the early 90's though so if you go there you may want to do a scouting trip first. BTW, send me some Skyline.

anyone fish
My wife and I both fly fish and tie our own flies. A few years ago I got hooked on making my own bass poppers for fly fishing.
