    Default seen this out my car window

    seen this bird driving back home threw indiana after running the hounds. got a little clip but the cars in back of me wanted me to get moving.

    It looks like a perregrin. There are a lot of falconers who own them and quite often those that I have seen are trained that have gotten loose. I have taken my glove and whistled for them. If they come I find the owners. I haven't seen any in a while, but I don't have a falconers license so it would be illegal for me to keep one for any length of time.

    It's an immature accipiter, a Cooper's or a sharp-shinned. My guess would be a Cooper's.

    And you say this bird was driving through Indiana...After taking a the dogs out for a run. I thought birds could fly and I didn't know birds were allowed to own a dog. Ah! Of course! Dogs can't fly can they?! That explains why the bird was driving.
