I cannot begin to say what an honor it is to have you here amongst us.
It is hard to tell who is the winner here - you and your wife or the two children whose lives you so graciously and generously are about to change (of course I know it is both).
God bless you and your new family. I will remember you in my prayers.

Thanked: 1Bravo for taking on such a task. I have always been a proponent of adoption and fostering, there are so many children out there in need of loving homes.
I doff my cap to you good sir. I wish you, your wife and the two new additions the very best.

Thanked: 90What you're doing is nothing short of heroic. I have to say "thank you" on behalf of the Human Race for taking on this responsibility.
I'm sure you and your wife have spent a few hours training in order to qualify to be foster parents, but you're going to feel overwhelmed a lot of times. Even heros can use some help. Don't ever hesitate to ask for it. Professional famly counselors can provide a lot of help in the situation that you'll soon find yourself in. Caring for your own flesh and blood can be taxing at times, and caring for a strangers kids is likely to be ten times more difficult. Don't be afraid to seek out help. Do it early and often in order to keep from fallng into self defeating behavior patterns.
Again, let me say that what you and your wife are doing is really beautiful, but it's going to be serious work for a few years. Don't forget to take care of yourselves as well.

Congrats to you and your wife.
What you and your wife are doing here is really great!
My wife works at the children's psychiatric clinic and there are far too many of those little ones whose life hasn't been so good. Helping those little kids is great. I wish and know there will be many happy days ahead.'That is what i do. I drink and i know things'
