    It's really hard to understand the size of these creatures unless you are right there next to them.

    On Isle Royal walking down one of the trails, they scared a momma moose and her calf down the trail toward me. I had no escape route but cliff or water. So I stood behind a 3 inch wide sapling while they passed. All she did was give a grunt. I though she was going to kill me as she was with calf. Woo! A close one!

    I was close enough to reach out and touch her. What a Huge animal!!

    Hey glen what do u charge to board and feed a lone hunter, send me ur price and ill be on the next flight from pa to ur house for a moose hunt. I think he would look nice next to my whittail mount and im sure they tast pretty good. all jokes a side your a lucky man not everyone has the oppertunity to live out of towns where you see wildlife.
