I remember when I started working around 1974 and guys who were in their 20s would see the older guys ready to retire and say "gee, I wish I were you ready to retire like that". The older guys would just shake their head and tell them "you know what you are saying is that you are wishing your life away".

leaving early? on your last day of work? that is just crazyness. well enjoy all the time off and have fun, i really cannot wait until i no longer have to work, i have about 14 years to go, ill be the ripe old age of 45.
