The finest word - RETIREMENT!
Yes folks, that ultimate rite of passage. It happens tomorrow. The kind folks here at Craftsman Book Company (Google Ogershok and Craftsman Book Co.) are planning a nice going away luncheon for me tomorrow featuring pizza, salad, sushi, tears and hugs. Then - I embark on the greatest adventure of my life. Everyone asks what I'll do to occupy my time but that is the least of my worries. After all, my hobby is collecting hobbies and there's no way I will ever be bored. So, there you go.
Question: What will I do after tomorrow?
Answer: Any darn thing I want to.
All congratulations will be graciously accepted.

Welcome to the club.
I've been retired 7 years now. It's the best thing in the world if you are prepared for it. As long as you have hobbies and interests and things to do it's marvelous.However if you are one of those guys who defines yourself by your work and has nothing but work in your head you will be miserable with a capitol M.

oceanside is such a beautiful place.. i cannot think of anything more enjoyable than to retire in oceanside without a care in the world..
