    Default Got Quinine?

With the mosquito season just around the corner, the prudent course of action is to increase your quinine levels to stave off the dreaded malaria. This seems to work well as I haven't yet contracted malaria (medicinal purposes only, you understand.)

    Ah yes, my favourite medicine.

Now, the thing to remember is that quinine is strong medicine, so I'd say easy on the Indian tonic water, heavy on the Tanqueray.
A buddy of mine has a rule that says 1 bottle of Tonic water should at least last one bottle of gin.

about 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla (sounds funky but it really is nice)

I actually drank G&T through the winter. Benjamin (BKratchmer) got me turned onto New Amsterdam. It is very cheap, but has a nice glass bottle and, more importantly, I think it's delicious. More citrus flavor than your average gin, so probably not a Gin Drinker's Gin. Makes a really nice G&T on the rocks with a splash of tonic. It's even very nice just over ice.

Please keep it to yourself if you like to slurp the dirty rocks, and then chew them. that is just so hard-core.. believe me, i know.

btw, i just dropped the red point 917 you honed for me around thanksgiving and broke the scales. bummer. i got a strop from srd today and gave the razor 5 laps on an enders oak loaf barber's hone, stropped it up, and shaved, broken scale and all.

Hemingway was quite the man. The more I read about him (or read his works), the more I envy the life he lead.
