    Default NEW JOB :) :)

Ok so for the past few years I was stuck at what I think is a DEAD END JOB.
A few weeks ago I went for a interview for something that I will actually enjoy doing. Total forgot about it already since it was a few weeks ago and never got a call back.

Today I am Proud to announce that I can’t wait to have my boss come in to work so I can hand her my two week notice
    I will be tonight

It's great when you have a job you actually enjoy doing. After sixteen years at mine, I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Thanks guys I will be starting the new job in a few weeks and get wait. I’m fairly young only 29. So I still have time to make a slight carrier change. Even thought the new job is in the same industry.

You know, that's awesome. It's a great feeling when things start coming together, in any venue, be it career or personal or financial. Good for you for recognizing the rut you were in and getting out of it. That speaks to your strength of character.

I was a Chef for about 10 years after I got my papers, and ran some pretty good kitchens. It took me that decade to realize that I loved teaching the new cooks how to cook. That recognition was what made me become a teacher. I love my job because I get to help others everyday. It was a great feeling when that all came together. (Sorry....your job change thread brought memories of my own job change.)

    Good for you.

Congrats! I'm in a similar position (Dead End Job) and would kill for the opportunity to show them the back of my spud as I left the building.
The older I get, the better I was
