I just talked to them on the phone and I'm rather impressed with them. They said they'll ship it on monday and it will be here on wednesday. They delayed the shipment so that it doesn't sit with UPS over the weekend
I like when people do their business properly. With their selection I think they just won my frequent return even though I have a couple of nice stores locally with great niche stuff.
I guess this deserves a nice rioja to celebrate. Faustino, here I come!!!

They're running the promo again! I thought it was a pretty good deal last time around, so I've ordered again. They have a lot of good wine at good prices (I've got few things even without a $35 discount like this).
In case anybody is interested, here's the link.
BTW I think they give another $5 to new customers, so it's $30 for $70 worth of wine.com wines.Last edited by gugi; 12-09-2011 at 03:24 AM.

Now why do I have to spend all that money on "wine" when I can just mosey on down to Walgreen's and get all the Ripple I want for a song and it doesn't have to be shipped.

Thanked: 1587No, I am just a believer in balance - the brain cells that wine takes away should be offset by the brain cells a book can add
For every glass of rioja you drink Gugi, you need to read 3 chapters of Cervantes to offset the cell loss; it is worse with Vodka - for every shot of vodka, you need to read 15 chapters of Dostoevsky!!
No seriously, that really looks like a good deal on wines. I miss my rioja. Australia can be really quite parochial when it comes to wines - we tend to mainly stock only "ours" in the major outlets and you really have to search quite hard to find a bricks and mortar store that sells something "foreign" or "exotic" like a rioja or a retsina (another favourite of mine, although I acknowledge it is an acquired taste and not for everyone).
Online certainly seems the way to go for the good deals. Books as well actually.
