I'd take my great grandfather's DE, my grand father's .22/410 OU, and my great grandfather's pocket knife. Everything else I have could be replaced.
No that pistol isn't the only thing under my kilt, but I can tell you both of them work just fine

A couple of razors and a couple of guns.

The rest of it can burn.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

In revisiting this topic, I think I would take sunblock and the half gallon of mint chocolate chip ice cream in the freezer. The heat is just brutal, even at night. If I had plenty of time to grab other stuff, I'd take my horween leather strop and the big Sutcliffe razor, and I'd pull my car out of the garage

id definitely grab my razor roll, and probably my photos as the first two things. One in each hand. The photos are film and sentimental, and I could sell mt presomal razors to replace just about everythimg else I own, if I really had to.

Wouldn't the typical garden hose be a little underpowered for extinguishing the typical american house (lots of wood and board), if the fire was already to the point where you'd have to flee the house?

Anyway, I did say to take out the fire itself

    That's what I was wondering....I have a 70cm wide fishtank....

Other than that, journals and pictures in print. Maybe a laptop? (there's a lot of photos on there.) A couple of the custom knives I've made or bought?

Most everything else can be replaced I think.

I don't own anything that I would risk my life to save.

hoglahoo: The fish swam out when the firefighters blasted the house with water.
