It does'nt matter what you ride as long as it gets you where you need to go mate sounds like a great trip and the bandit isnt a bad looker at all.

Thanked: 983Fair enough there mate. That bloke of mine would not have had it any other way, I wouldn't have been able to leave him behind if I tried. He would have escaped and come looking for me (he did several times, but was caught early). A good thing he's not around now though. The law has changed to specifically make it illegal to have animals on Bikes. Although it may simply be an unrestrained animal in, or on, a vehicle (but I think they specified in front of a rider too. Restrained or otherwise.) My mate was harnessed up and attached to my waist via a carbiner and (very) short lead. In the years that we rode together we only had one slight mis-step when I launched the bike over an extra large mound of bitumen. The dog stayed airbourne longer than me or the bike and was off to one side. I just reached out and caught him mid hover before he ended up dangling at my hip, and put him back on his tank mat. His grin just increased in size, so he thought nothing of it. My latest bloke won't have a bar of the bike. Fear gets too much for him. He's a tin-top man unfortunately.

When I was a kid I had a little Honda 90 cc dirt bike. I rode the wheels off that thing untill it got to the point I felt like a bear on a tricycle. I've been wanting a street bike for years, just havnt had the money. Oh well hopefully I'll get be able to get one when the cars paid off.
No that pistol isn't the only thing under my kilt, but I can tell you both of them work just fine

That dog sounds like a cracker Mick bought a smile to my face ,you may be right about the unrestrained in front bit because i went on a toy run last year and ther was a guy with his dog on the back of his bike in this sort of box thing didnt look to safe to me but they seemed happy with it.
Devilpup hope you get your street bike soon mate just dont go to crazy on your first ,size ,speed or just in general they need a lot of respect on the road .Go crazy on the dirt or the track and watch those car drivers mate .Pacco beautiful bike mate the newer and a lot bigger brother to mine good grip through that tight stuff looks like a lot of fun.

The ZX is old enough to drive itself, 54,000+ miles on it. Redid the valves, cams, heads back Muzzy racing pipe, I can still out twist most of the kids on new scooters. The Wing is an entirely different animal. 6 cylinder, high flow pipes, shaft drive, cruse, more electronics than you can shake a stick at and she still puts down about 130hp. I have drug the crash bars running the twisties more than a couple times. Almost 50,000 miles on that one. Ow, ya, and it has a reverse.

Thanked: 1936You guys made me do it...I used to ride the sportbikes as well. I was a major fan of the CBR1100XX Blackbird. It was about the most comfortable fast bike I had ever been on. I have had two Blackbirds, first one was stolen. The second one I had a bad spill on, but put her back together & here's a pic of her:

Ahhh the gold wing its the limmo of the bike world,.. they are a beast more motor than most small cars. How do you go riding in reverse? i don,t think you would be reversing to far if that puppy started going down on its side you would have no chance.
Nice rebuild shooter love the pipes and the rims, she is a shiny new lady.
