I have put down a thousand miles in a day on the wind. Most I do on the zx is about 500 and I feel that in the morning. Next one will be a 1198 Duck.

'Fodder. There's nothing like a monster twin. I coveted an RC51 (honda sport twin that BEAT the duc). I can't hang w/ the daffydromics, but I have NO doubt it would be a scream. If you get one - enjoy the heck out of it.

Thanked: 1936I had one and it was a beast with the shorter wheelbase compared to my Blackbird. Only time I could pull away from it (with a friend riding it who was quite experienced) was in the higher speeds (triple digits in mph)...kind of like a quarter horse versus a thoroughbred. I found it quite difficult to keep the front wheel down while "getting on it". I still remember the "grunt" sound it would make when you would roll the throttle...then the rear would squat a bit, then the front would get light. Definitely a fun bike the RC51 is...
