Bulova recently came out with an LE edition made exclusively for Macy's Dept Store. It's the American Clipper model with Citizen Autowind mvmt and a very nice watch at a very attractive price. You can see it on line at Timezone or Macy's online. Also it's on sale around 90 bucks off this weekend.

I am a pocket watch guy.
    Specifically Railroad Pocket Watches.

American Railroad Pocket Watches were the acme of timekeeping instruments in their day.

Today's watch is my 21J Illinois 60 Hour Bunn Special which was made in 1926.

This mechanical watch loses about 2 seconds per day.

If you use a straight razor, you really ought to use a pocket watch and fountain pen! (That's my Sailor 1911 pen from Japan.)

Ya get no argument from me. I've been collecting pocket watches for 40 years or more.

This tidbit called "Man With Too Much Time On His Hands" can be found in the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors Museum (NAWCC) in Columbia, PA.

I pirated it off of their periodical, but I saw the life size original for myself when I went to Columbia for a workshop.

Well, you know what they say "man with one watch knows the time, man with two watches never sure".

Tomorrow's watch is my Waltham Vanguard 23J, Model 1908, with a wind indicator, circa 1926.
Canadian dial, Gold filled case with a 20 year guarantee.
It is called a "Canadian dial" because many of the Canadian railways were on 24 hour time (as opposed to AM/PM.)

I thought that Hamilton 950s had a one screw winding hub.
Do you know when they changed from two screws to one?

Was looking for an new watch and took TBS's advice to heart. Just got a Hamilton King Khaki automatic. Think I'll be pleased with it but time will tell, pun intended.
