It's fun to switch out and wear different ones every few days. This one is from 1953, one of the "script" Geneves made for a few years, up through about 1961 and not too often seen. This watch has the 30mm Omega 286 movement. In the later 1960s Omega began a different Geneve line.
Spectacular - elegant, classic and simple, great example of a nice dress watch - beautiful Omega.

Wore this Tag Huer Chrono today, not thin, not elegant, from the classic "Hamburger" (watch is "thicc" lol) watch days.....this was fully serviced and works perfectly, still keeps great time, unfortunately get's little to no wrist time.

Don't be a wise guy, we all know it's 18k,and even than, it was one hell of a deal. And yes it does have 91 grams of 18k,and a 7750. All that for Less than grand. I know, I have one.

The original company back in the 1850s made a great watch. (It was a Swiss Company). The current outfit a few years ago made some models that were Swiss Made and those like their Swiss Diver and the Rolex Daytona wannabe were both fantastic watches for the money and were a steal. I had both.

Otherwise their typical watches are assembled in Panama (as I recall) and have mostly Chinese Mvmts.
Your wrong Big, the junk they make is from China or Maylaysia. You have to be careful when you have buy one. They still make some nice watches but they also make junk. But if you read the description before you buy any of them you can still find some good ones, also I haven't bought one in a while.
But this was one of the best deals they have ever had.

Yea, several years ago they made primo quality Swiss made pieces. Like I said I had the Swiss Diver and the Speedway and they were fantastic bargains for the price. But that was then. Of course they bought out Glycine and a few others so maybe those are better I don't know. I think all their current Swiss Made pieces are Quartz.

You also have to be careful about "Swiss Made" cause a number of outfits play fast and loose to just meet the requirements. Swiss Tech is a prime example. A Chinese outfit who ships parts to their factory in Switzerland and assembly and timing happen in Switzerland and you have a "Swiss Made" watch.

Are you referring to the Solid 18k Gold Dragon Lupah from Invicta, that is the only listed solid gold watch from Invicta that I can find.

This watch (in your post) is a 2 tone watch, so center links and bezel would be gold, but this watch is gold plated, and even if not with a two tone, 91 grams of solid gold puts it's weight above a solid gold Rolex Day-Date (entire bracelet and entire case).

But yes, Invicta made some great watches, the watches when they used the 7750 movement still sell today for prices above $1,000 USD, especially the Pro Diver.

Is this the watch you're referring to, Valjoux 7750 movement and 135 grams of Gold?

No that's not it.,if you didn't get this one when it aired, you didn't get one, I got mine about 30 years ago when this was there average sized watch, and the Loupa was new. You will never see them for sale on the after market, at least I never have. The yellow gold version sold out in minutes, and I just got mine under the wire. I don't have it near me but I'll get you the model number. This time Big, just fall on your sword. Lol. I posted the picture, it existed, and I had my jeweler check it on a touch stone. This one got past you.

I never said I was an encyclopaedia of watch facts, just what I picked up over the years and actually pocket watches were my thing.

I used to watch Shopnbc when baldy and his Invicta sidekick hawked their watches. That's how I got the Speedway and Swiss Diver. I remember their jewel encrusted pieces but I don'trecall any sold gold pieces.

So I guess you got me. I'll flog myself with a cordovan watch strop. Is 10 lashes enough?

Yes I'm aware of the difference . Also if you Google limited edition Ocean ghost, you'll get one for sale, a little over five grand
