I'm not sure. What I can tell you (for sure) is that for an old piece, it keeps remarkably accurate time. More accurate than this new-ish TAG Carrera automatic:

Wristwatch for most of the time TAG granite face SS band wife bought it for my in 1994 and it has never missed a beat

For dress up I usually wear a Trissot Gold Pocket watch and Chain that she bought for me in 1999

And for rough wear / water wear / cold weather wear I wear an all plastic/ rubber Casio G-shock from 1991 this one is on the second band but other than normal batteries I have had no issues..

Me, I get by with my Tissot V8 and of I do anything outdoors or sporting type of activities I'll use my old Polar S720i heartratemonitor.
I'm usually not a fan of TAGs, but the Carreras are nice. I really like the black face.

A 1942 Rolex Oyster manual wind. A little small, but classy!
This a Doxa Sub750T Professional that is new to me as of last week.
