On a different note, I just saw the new Doxa 600, I am not sure of the complete name, but I just got an email from them showing their new collection, and in the ad,was a blue watch with red lines around the numbers. It was beautiful, not that I need a blue watch, but it was gorgeous, so with summer coming I had an excuse for buying it, but the best looking watch on there website was already sold out, before I was even told that it existed. That kind of stuff really pisses me off, you get an ad saying hey look what we just made, but you can't have one, there already gone. Take a look at Doxa.com and see for yourself, it's on the top of the page and you can't miss it, and it's the only one you would say "wow that's really nice, I want one " .really steams me.
    Ok,done with my rant.

I've had a couple of Doxa watches and I sold them both. I don't know what they do to their metal but I've never seen a case that scratched so easily.

I really don't know how to respond to that, I'm pretty sure they used stainless steel, and I don't have any idea how or why it would scratch differently from any other, mine are in great shape, and they were my father's. The ones I was talking about are the Pacific 600. There in a blue colbolt, which is one of my favorite colors, but it pisses me off when you get an email that says "hey look at our new watch, but you can't have one ,because their sold out ", that's just bullshit, send me an email that says look what's coming and get ready to want it. JMHO.

That's in the same vane as Swatch/Omega with the moonwatch knockoff. You can only get one at select Swatch Stores and only in person.

    My latest little pick-up....

I'd say this is, "The Forgotten Reference", the Rolex GMT Master 16700, one of the last old school GMT references and the only GMT with the "Quickset" date feature.

This is a super slim reference, sleek, elegant, from a time Pan Am pilots were Kings of the Sky.....

This is a Rolex GMT Master 16700, 100 meters water resistance, all original, bracelet is 62510H (06) Jubilee Bracelet with 50 and 502B stamps on links.

If I had that watch I'd sell it and laugh all the way to the bank.
