Thanked: 1185Ah Grunge...I'm reminded of the morning one of my troops came in and told me he had seen Pearl Jam on MTV doing their "new" song, "Keep on Rockin in the Free World" with "some old guy." I laughed until my stomach hurt and then explained to this clueless a$$clown that the "old guy" in question was in fact Neil Young, who in fact wrote this "new song" years before Eddie Veter was even introduced to the teet.

I was fifteen when that song broke out. I didn't like those Seattle bands then, and I still don't. This is what I was playing that year. 20 years?!!

It was hard for DC kids to dig that mtv grunge stuff when this was free or, at the most 5 bucks to catch.
