That is one of the problems of having to remove my stand every night. I can't leave it there for them to get use to. A climber stand would solve some of that but with my fat old butt and we aren't suppose to trim any branches either makes that harder. It is fun to watch the deer cock their heads from side to side because they don't know how far something is.

When the bucks get horny all that caution will go with the wind. I hope that starts pretty soon!

I can tell you are from MN. I want to have my chance before you firearm guys do. Or I will just have to wait for 3B! [An inside joke to the rest of the world.]

Normally I spend more time bowhunting, but I never made it out at all this year.
I am really excited about the firearm season.

I will try to remember to get some good pics to post here.

Default It worked well for a cart

Size: 20.0 KBRain, sleet, and snow made the ground very greasy. My boy got a deer about 1/2 mile away. My brother in-law slid his 2 wheel drive truck off the side of a field road and was mad I didn't even want to take my 4x4 out in that greasy stuff to fetch him. We got him out the next morning. LOL My boy and the others thought I was nuts when I suggested using my stand for a cart. It worked great. It took us longer to find the knife that was laid down in the snow and corn stubble than to cart it back.

I had to take this picture even though under a yard light with my camera it isn't good.

I can't make that picture out very well with your light saber in the frame.

My flashlight was dead and I was trying to use it to illuminate the scene. Not all plans work out as intended! LOL

My deer stand has 4 wheels and a heater Just kidding. We have 3 stands out 2 tripod stands on wheat fields and one lean to on a tree row. Even with all this I still hunt on the ground more than anything.
