Thanked: 235Waiting for our twosome to turn into a threesome
Nine months ago nine months seemed like a long time. But now that my wife and I are in the hopsital awaiting the arrival of our daughter early tomorrow morning nine months seem awfully short. This is our first child so I can't say for certain, but I suspect that a child would take pride of place in anyone's collection of stuff.
As soon as I am able I will post photos.
Of course I have no intention of collecting kids. One or even two will be enough.
Cheers,
Dad to be
Nathan

Thanked: 993Congratulations! I don't have kids yet, but I've already imagined that the birth of the first is going to be astounding and simultaneously terrifying.

Congratulations, and best wishes for the health of mom and baby!
He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.

Nathan, huge 'grats. Best wishes for Mom & baby. 'Hope you both take to parenthood with joy. Dads that love being dads make great dads. I'll never forget how good it felt to be w/ a former college roommate who does love being a dad. Parents took turns w/ diaper duty. It was my friend's 'turn'. He says in a strong voice: ALRIGHT BOY, LETS GET NAKED! 'Was just a pleasure and a comfort when dads take pleasure in such a huge job. I hope you enjoy every minute of it.

Congrats! Take it from one who is about to send his first off to college. Spend all the time you can with that kid because one day you wake up, your baby is an adult and you wonder what the heck happened.
I know that advise is old and worn out but boy is it true.

Congratulations,
I couldnt have imagined having 2 children by now 5 years ago, Now I couldnt imagine not having my 2 amazing children.
Pay close attention to them, they make some of the greatest, most simple observations. They will bring you more joy than anything in your life, even your razors
Also take a million pictures, 5 a day, at least until they are 1. You can never have enough pictures.
Good luck my friend.
