Glen, is there someone near you that offers the Utah CFP class?

if not, let me know. I wouldn't mind taking a business/fishing trip this fall.

My Georgia Weapons Carry License arrived today. WOOHOO. I plan to carry either a Taurus PT-140 or a Ruger P89 depending on season and garments.

ruger p95 9mm. can conceal it in damn near any weather considering where i live i'm always layering clothing as it is damn near all year. even on a hot sunny day there's no trouble hiding anything under a button up shirt cause I wear my pants the right way and not half way down my ass!

I'm not saying yours is, but a heavy gun will have you pulling your pants back up all day.

Awesome! I cc too! I'm usually at the hospiral or at school so I don't get to carry that often. When I do it's a springfield XD45 in a crossbreed in the waistband holster. SO comfortable even with that big of a gun.

Not when you have a good belt

I have carried a 1911(full size) to see
I I could (I'm 19) aroundtebhouse for a day and while I was going shooting at the range till it was time to shoot it, just to seeing I could. I could tell that it was pulling down the belt I was wearing, but I could also tell how a good gun belt would act. A lot different, as a lot of times they have a piece of kydex between 2 layers of leather for support (my belt kept folding, which was hat messed it up)

I've also had my mother complaining about her carry gun and concealing in gym shorts......I carried it around in gum shorts with her holster till they noticed it wasn't there when it was time to shoot.

I pulled it it and handed it to her with the statement "see, you can conceal I. Gymshorts"

+1 A good gun belt helps distribute the weight of the gun and makes it comfortable to carry. It also keeps your pants from sagging. A good belt makes a huge difference.

I believe this is what Lynn uses as I have considered it myself & he made reference to it in a thread that I started a while back. Might check with him...
