I carry the pps at the 1 o'clock sometimes and it's not bad. The biggest thing is the right holster. You can't use a crosbreed style holster for that position. You have to use slimmer clip style or a clipless friction style.

Thanked: 1936How do you think it will fit a 5'11", 260lb fella? Was thinking about one of the CrossBreeds first as they have a two week "try it out" period & a lifetime warranty. I believe Lynn may have one or two, gotta check with him to see how he likes them since he's had one a while now.
Tracking it...arrived in Louisville, KY this morning at 5:56 am...not showing a departure. I've got a 250 round box of ammo ready to run thru it right NOW! Gotta get some more mags on order from Wilson Combat.Southeastern Oklahoma/Northeastern Texas helper. Please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank you and God Bless, Scott

It's one of the crossbreed style, leather and kydex hybrid holster, but it has a bit more padding on the back and has the behind the belt C clips standard. Check out hocock45's video on YouTube about hybrid holsters. I've been thinking about either a white hat, or a Minotaur so that I can switch the holster for different weapons for cheaper.

I don't know of any person that has tried the crossbreed style holster that said they suck. Best holster I have ever worn for ccw. bar none. I have tried them all except for SBC(horrible way to carry IMHO). I've worn IWB and OWB with many types and styles. BAR none the crossbreed style is the best for CHL. Does not matter what size or style weapon. I use it on everthing from a colt defender, kimber pro covert, glock 26, fnp 45. LCP 380.

How many people CCW here?
I know that method works well standing. How about drawing while sitting or driving?
Appendix carry works for me, and since most people don't touch me there, I don't sweat it if I get bumped in the hall at work.
In a pinch, I could do a reverse cross draw if my right hand were to be immobilized.
I'm not knocking strong side carry, it just doesn't work for me.

I actually practice weak/off hand draw etc for that reason also one handed malfunction clearing etc...
I guess I'm in the same boat as you but backwards. EDC blade in my front right pocket. ccw strong side 5oclock. front carry "bothers big jim and the twins". I can draw while driving or sitting just fine. clearly if wearing a heavy jacket etc clothing allowances need to be made. For me the only hard and fast rule I live by is the only carry that is useless out and bout town is bedstand. But everyone has different likes/dislikes. 10-3 is useless for me most of the time. As I shoot left handed also at times I will carry strong side 7oclock if needed."We sleep soundly in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm."

Thanked: 32Carry is very person dependent, but I can certainly see some advantages in accessing the firearm in certain situations when you appendix carry. I personally can't carry that way comfortably.
I like these guys and they have a nice little pro/con discussion on appendix carry: Range Time with Cory & Erika - Appendix Carry - YouTube
