    Wow man that looks great!! You guys are really pushing me to smoke a pipe with all these great pipe pictures and fixes!! Now off to read more on what to have to start!!!

    Thanks guys. This was fun, especially because it was impossible to make it worse. The hard part is going to be waiting for the tung oil to cure. If I keep doing these, I.might have to get a buffing wheel set for my drill.

    Great save. My own PAD has made a reappearance after several years of remission. I see myself doing a few pipe restorations in the not too distant future.

    Thanks, too bad I missed that boat. Honestly, this one must have been beginner's luck, because it was my first try. Hopefully I can continue to get such great results with other estate pipes I find.
